Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon and 5K
Feb. 3, 2019
The San Francisco Half Marathon is a certified 13.1 mile course and is ranked as one of the most scenic in the country by Runner’s World. Enjoy the sights of Golden Gate Park and run along the Pacific Ocean before celebrating your finish under the Murphy Windmill. From veteran runners looking for a personal best on this fast course, to first time half marathoners, this race is a gem for all. If you're looking for a shorter distance or want to make it a family affair, check out the 5k option.

Alaska Airlines Bay to Breakers 12k

With a starting point near the San Francisco Bay, a few blocks from The Embarcadero, the iconic 12K race runs west through the city and finishes at the Great Highway where breakers crash onto the Pacific Coast’s Ocean Beach. From the colorful costumes – to the World Centipede Championships – to the “upstream swimming salmon,” Bay to Breakers encapsulates more than 105 years of rich history and quirky traditions. This quintessential San Francisco experience is a true reflection and celebration of life between the breakers and the Bay. The 2019 edition will take place on Sunday, May 19. Across The Bay 12k and 5k
July 14, 2019
Thirty-six years old, Across the Bay 12k and 415k (3.1 miles) will return to the San Francisco streets in July 2019. The 12k features a point-to- point journey starting in Sausalito, running across the Golden Gate Bridge, and finishing in Aquatic Park. The 5k starts and finishes in San Francisco. All participants receive a finisher medal and race tech tee designed by local artists at San Franpsycho.

The BioFreeze San Francisco Marathon

The San Francisco Marathon welcomes over 27,000 runners who participate in San Francisco’s only Full Marathon, as well as two Half Marathons, a 5K and an Ultramarathon. This annual event is a USATF-certified course, and both a Boston Marathon Qualifier and Olympic Team Trials Qualifier. Runners start along the Embarcadero, traverse the roadbed of the Golden Gate Bridge and run through Golden Gate Park, the Mission District, along the waterfront, and more, to the Finish Line Festival in Justin Herman Plaza.

San Francisco Giant Race Half Marathon, 10k, 5k, Kids Race and Family Relay
September 8, 2019
Join 20,000 runners from 45 states and 16 countries for the San Francisco Giant Race Half Marathon, 10k, 5k, Kids Race and Family Relay that finishes on the field at AT&T Park (home of baseball's San Francisco Giants). Giant Race allows you to explore the San Francisco waterfront while racing along the flattest and fastest course in town. All runners receive a finisher medal, race tech tee, and SF Giants player-themed bobblehead. The San Francisco Giant Race is part of the largest endurance event series in Major League Baseball, the Giant Race Series, which gives baseball fans and running enthusiasts an unforgettable journey of run, walk, fitness and training experiences all baseball-season long.
